IT Support Engineer - MSP - Newcastle-under-Lyme - £26K-£29K

An IT Support Engineer with good working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, and ideally previous MSP experience is required by a growing IT Managed Services Provider based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Here you'll be joining a close-knit technical team at a thriving and expanding MSP with real scope to progress into project-focused and escalation roles.

Roles And Responsibilities

This is an office-based role, with frequent site visits around Staffordshire. The role is varied, with visits to clients up to 2-3 times a week. You will work with the latest technology and be involved in various tasks, including:

  • Providing 1st/2nd line support via phone, email, or face-to-face
  • Diagnosing issues and escalating to 3rd line when necessary
  • Logging incidents and requests in the service desk system
  • Managing, prioritising, and planning your work queue within SLAs
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvement and change
