Job summary

Valorem First is seeking an IT Support Apprentice to join our growing team, earning a nationally recognised SCQF Level 8 IT Support qualification. You will work with experienced IT professionals, gaining practical skills in support, troubleshooting, and service delivery while laying the foundations for a long-term technology career.

You’ll develop hands-on experience delivering first-line support, configuring devices, and assisting with projects, with mentoring and clear progression

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and user accounts
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and cloud technologies
• Monitor and maintain IT systems and services
• Manage IT assets and maintain documentation
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and continuous improvement
• Deliver excellent customer service and timely resolution of support requests
