Job summary

SecuriGroup is offering an IT Support Apprentice role in Glasgow designed to kickstart your IT career with hands-on experience across our IT services. You will provide predominantly first‑line support to internal users, learning to triage tickets, configure equipment and assist with security and compliance tasks under guidance.

Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you’ll gain practical technical skills, customer service experience and a portfolio of completed apprenticeship requirements,

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in IT and willingness to learn new systems.
• Helpful, patient and professional customer service approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication; explain information plainly.
• Good problem-solving, detail-oriented and logical approach.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Able to work well in a team and seek guidance when needed.
• Commitment to completing apprenticeship learning and portfolio requirements.

Responsibilities

• Triage, prioritise and update service desk tickets, communicating with end users.
• Provide first-line IT support to organisation users across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot common issues and escalate when needed.
• Prepare, configure and issue IT equipment, maintain asset records.
• Support and administer business-critical applications under guidance.
• Assist with information security and compliance activities per SecuriGroup policies.
