Job summary

The White Horse Federation is seeking an IT Support Apprentice to join our IT Services Team. This role offers hands-on experience supporting staff and pupils, with a recognised qualification gained through the apprenticeship.

You will provide first-line IT support, assist with hardware/software setup and contribute to projects within a large multi-academy trust. Full-time apprenticeship with mentoring and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Interest in information technology and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• GCSE English & Maths (4/C or above) or willingness to work toward them.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to staff and students.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Help set up and maintain laptops, desktops, tablets and other devices.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
