Job summary

QA is offering an IT Apprenticeship in Abingdon, with a small, dedicated IT team and a named mentor. You will gain real-world skills by supporting clients, installing and building bespoke systems, and handling daily IT tasks and service desk requests.

The programme requires 3 GCSEs (incl. Maths and English) and a willingness to learn; a driving licence is ideal. Working week is Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30, with salary progression and added benefits.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) with Math and English at grade 3+ (D).
• No higher-level qualification in a similar subject required.
• Willingness to learn and develop IT skills on the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support and assist with installations for new and existing clients.
• Support with building bespoke computer systems and servers and offer remote help.
• Handle daily service desk requests and contribute to maintenance tasks.
• Develop social media strategies with the team to increase website traffic.
