Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking 3 IT Support Engineers to cover Newport, Port Talbot and Llanelli on a 2-month contract with potential extension. You will travel between sites and provide hands-on IT support, including AV installations and hardware deployments.

The roles require own transport and a valid driving license, with responsibilities spanning incident resolution, IMAC tasks, and onsite VIP service to ensure minimal downtime for production users.

Your New Role

We are seeking to enrol 3x IT Support Engineers to provide services in Newport, Port Talbot & Llanelli, with 1x Engineer covering each site. Own transport and a driving license will be required, as there is a possibility to travel between sites.

Your Responsibilities

• You will be involved in AV Client installations and support to the client's hardware along with endpoint/server deployment.
• You will handle IMAC by validating requests, preparing and installing equipment, coordinating logistics, and supporting users.
• VIP Service offers prioritized, onsite IT support to selected users and their assistants.
• Offers walk-in IT support via Genius Bar, manages device handouts/returns, assists with orders and logistics, and ensures fast printer swaps to avoid production delays.

You Will Manage

• Incident resolution for workplace IT services by diagnosing issues, coordinating with third parties, restoring services quickly, updating records, and ensuring incidents are properly closed - all based on priority and service level agreements.
• Problem Management by identifying, logging, prioritizing, and resolving issues affecting workplace IT services, coordinating with third parties, updating records, and preventing recurrence through root cause analysis and documentation
• IT assets and configurations by maintaining accurate records, updating inventory, handling installations, returns, and disposals, ensuring stock levels, and supporting logistics - all in alignment with customer policies and systems
