North Walsham High School is offering an IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship in its Digital Team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in IT support, network management, and AV services while working toward a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician qualification.

The role is based at North Walsham and Millfield Primary across two sites, with a Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:00 and Friday 8:00-15:30 schedule, 37 hours/week, 18 months. Salary starts at £8.00/hour with a pay rise after 12 months.

Qualificações

• Pursuing Level 3 IT Solutions Technician qualification through apprenticeship.
• Hands-on experience supporting IT systems across schools.
• Mentoring from experienced IT professionals and regular progress reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain reliable internet and network connectivity across the Trust
• Respond to IT helpdesk requests and troubleshoot on-site and remotely
• Install and configure hardware/software on workstations and devices
• Set up and manage user accounts in Microsoft 365, MIS and other systems
• Maintain IT knowledge base for future problem-solving
• Set up and operate AV equipment for assemblies and events
• Protect network security and assist with cyber incident response
