Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to support customer environments, combining troubleshooting, infrastructure support and hands-on work at client sites. You will resolve incidents, perform installations and maintain documentation while working to SLAs and coordinating with external providers.

The role requires at least 5 years in IT, strong Microsoft 365/GDPR/Cyber Essentials knowledge, and robust networking and server expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar IT position.
• Mandatory knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, RMM solutions and telephone platforms.
• Strong networking knowledge: routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls.
• Experience working with external service providers.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Group Policy.
• Azure administration and implementation.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac environments.
• Client builds, imaging and system deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent problem solving and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with responsive and professional technical assistance.
• Attend customer sites to resolve issues, install and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incidents and service requests via the Service Desk.
• Keep customers informed and meet SLA requirements.
• Escalate high-priority issues to Management.
• Review workload and priorities to meet business objectives.
• Monitor customer systems to ensure technology meets standards.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Record activity accurately and document unresolved work.
• Handle urgent incidents remotely and on customer premises.
