IT Service Transition Lead for MSP/ISP Migrations

Job summary

Talentedge is partnering with a large consumer-facing organisation undergoing a major technology transformation. The role focuses on client-side coordination of an MSP transition, ensuring business-as-usual operations in a 24/7 environment and navigating complex supplier relationships across nationwide sites.

The successful candidate will lead technical discovery, documentation, and handovers, coordinating MS P and ISP migrations with internal IT teams to deliver a seamless transition into BAU.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating MSP transitions, ideally client-side.
• Proven ability to manage ISP/WAN migrations across multiple sites.
• Experience documenting configurations, processes and knowledge transfer.
• Strong ITIL knowledge with service readiness and BAU handover.
• Ability to challenge suppliers and manage complex relationships.
• Excellent organisation for high-volume site migrations and workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end MSP transition milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
• Lead technical discovery of the IT estate including network configurations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and structured handovers between MSPs.
• Oversee ISP, WAN and network migrations across hundreds of sites.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify issues and dependencies.
• Manage relationships with incumbent and incoming providers, suppliers.
• Support development of ITIL processes, JML and service documentation.
• Coordinate transitions across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and endpoints.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and provide progress reporting.
• Support service readiness, testing, cutovers and Early Life Support.
