Job Title: IT Service Governance and Advocacy Lead

Location: Cambridge / London

Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid

The job

The role is the custodian of the IT Services Catalogue, owner of the Operating Model for IT Service Governance and Performance, and active promoter of IT services across the AVEVA Group. An enabling responsibility is to govern and quality check all IT communications and manage the structure of IT SharePoint, and the content / presence of our IT intranet pages (OneSpace).

Key responsibilities

IT Service Governance

  • Manage and maintain the IT Services Inventory
  • Ensure up to date ownership and KPIs definition of each IT Service
  • Prepare reporting of IT Service KPIs to IT Leadership Team and Executive Leadership
  • Support the creation and maintenance of clear Operating Models for key IT Services
  • Maintain the IT Organization Chart
  • Maintain and publish an 18-month rolling view of the IT Cadence
  • Facilitate leadership presentations as necessary
  • Governance and ownership of SharePoint for IT so it remains relevant
  • Regular review and governance of IT Intranet (OneSpace)
  • Manage new joiner pages and information hub for IT including new joiner Induction Pack

IT Service Advocacy

  • Prepare and maintain the content of the IT pages on the Intranet (OneSpace)
  • Be a brand ambassador for IT, presenting a clear and positive brand image for IT
  • Govern IT operational messaging by
    • Setting the IT messaging Operating Model with clear protocols
    • Control access and configuration of the IT Communications Mailbox
    • Perform quality reviews of communications (Projects, IT Services, Incidents etc)
  • Prepare IT Leadership (ITLT) messaging (outside of Employee Communications team's remit)
    • Support and prepare ITLT messaging through Café Corner (Viva Engage site)
    • Provide feedback loop to ITLT from IT employees from Café Corner and other sources
    • Ensure continuity of key links to IT Sharepoint site
    • IT Office Newsletter
    • Support ITLT response to Peakon survey
  • Support IT Leadership by acting as the primary point of contact for
    • Employee Communications
      • Input content into IT All Hands Calls
      • Propose content for Employee Communications, e.g. all employee newsletters
    • ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Team
      • Technology Amnesty metrics
      • Report KPIs metrics affecting feeding LTIP to ITLT

Hybrid working
