Job summary

Benchmark Capital Limited is seeking an IT Operations Support Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology team in Horsham. You will support, maintain and improve the technology estate, acting as a technical escalation point and assisting with projects.

You will administer Microsoft 365, AD, and related enterprise technologies, monitor system health, and collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Operations or infrastructure support.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience in IT Service Management and incident handling.
• Strong troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
• Experience with end-user computing environments.
• Ability to document processes and operating procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to other UK offices.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for the IT Service Desk.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, app and end-user issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory and related tech.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance and capacity.
• Support patch management and security/compliance tasks.
• Collaborate with Information Security on audits and controls.
• Travel to Benchmark offices as required for projects.
