Job summary

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking an IT Account Manager to own an established portfolio of existing customers in the Telford/Wolverhampton area. This farmer-led role focuses on retention, development and growing account value without heavy cold-calling.

You will manage renewals, drive upsell opportunities, build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders and work with service teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have genuine account management / farmer mentality.
• Experience managing and developing an existing customer portfolio.
• Background within Technology, IT or SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct regular account reviews and customer meetings.
• Understand customers' businesses and technology environments.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the portfolio.
• Manage renewals and maximise customer retention.
• Increase account value through managed services and tech offerings.
• Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
