Job summary

John Lewis & Partners is recruiting for an IT Manager at Herbert Parkinson in Darwen, near Manchester. You will lead the IT team, align strategy across technology, data and automation, and drive continuous operational improvement while upholding data security and governance standards.

You will partner with all areas of the business and manage relationships with JL Infrastructure teams and external IT suppliers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT or systems environments.
• People management experience.
• ERP experience in a manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT team to deliver day-to-day operations and projects.
• Collaborate with JL Infrastructure teams and external IT suppliers on projects, costs and data safety.
• Research new systems and technological advancements for business improvements.
• Review data foundations and reporting for data-driven improvements across the business.
• Talent management of direct reports and succession planning.
