Job summary

Herbert Parkinson, part of the John Lewis Partnership, is seeking an IT Manager to lead the IT team, drive day-to-day operations and strategic projects that lift branch efficiency and profitability while ensuring data security and governance across the business.

You will partner with JL Infrastructure teams and external suppliers, shape technology strategy, and deliver data-driven improvements with a focus on manufacturing ERP systems and scalable IT services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within a relevant IT or Systems based environment.
• People management experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a customer centric service to all areas of Herbert Parkinson and the wider Partnership; collaborate with all teams to deliver IT requirements.
• Manage relationships with JL Infrastructure teams and external IT suppliers regarding projects, performance, costs and data safety.
• Research new systems and technological advancements for business improvements.
• Review data foundations and reporting capability to identify data-driven improvements across the business.
• Talent management of line reports and succession planning.
