Job summary
LA International Computer Consultants Ltd in Barrow-in-Furness seeks a hands-on IT Support professional to manage 2nd line incidents, resolve issues to SLA, and support internal and external projects. A UK driving licence is required and SC clearance or eligibility is expected. The candidate will install and configure software/hardware, collaborate with Level 3 teams, and maintain monthly
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
- 2nd line incident resolution to SLA targets.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- SC Clearance or eligibility to undertake security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Undertake incident and request tasks.
- Be responsible for 2nd line resolution of incidents to SLA.
- Maintain a 2% incident per month target.
- Complete assigned works within allocated timeframes.
- Support Project Managers on internal and external projects.
- Handle non-standard requests within agreed timescales.
- Communicate proactively with Level 3 teams to escalate major issues.
- Resolve technical issues for laptops/desktops, networks, printers, etc.
- Install and configure software and hardware.
