Job description

We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient IT Team Member to support our growing IT operations. This role involves the preparation and deployment of hardware for staff, providing first-line support via the IT helpdesk, and managing the company's software licenses. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with core Microsoft technologies and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and configure laptops, desktops, and other hardware for new and existing staff
  2. Provide user support through the IT helpdesk, resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally
  3. Manage and monitor software licenses to ensure compliance and optimize usage
  4. Support user account management, access permissions, and security policies
  5. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of staff, including IT setup and decommissioning
  6. Maintain accurate asset records for hardware and software
  7. Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and upgrades
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and support
  2. Experience with Microsoft Azure / Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
  3. Knowledge and hands-on use of Microsoft Intune for device management
  4. Strong experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
  5. Good telephone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills
  6. Proven customer service experience, ideally in an IT support environment
  7. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
  1. IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
  2. Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  3. Familiarity with ITIL best practices
  4. Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
