Job description

Home based position on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (including weekends and bank holidays)

The role and what you’ll be doing on a day-to-day basis:

Littlefish is recruiting a 24/7 Service Desk Engineer to join the Service Desk Team. This is a home-based position on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. You will be expected to attend the office once a month for team meetings and complete your initial 6-week training in the office.

What you’ll be doing daily:

Reporting to the 24/7 Service Desk Team Leader, you will provide effective technical support to Littlefish’s contract customers. Responsibilities include resolving desktop, laptop, printer, and application issues, as well as performing network/server troubleshooting and administration. You should be able to communicate effectively with customers and manage technical queries according to Littlefish standards and SLAs.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
  • Experience in a 1st and 2nd line IT service desk or similar technical role
  • Experience using ITSM case management software
  • Experience using remote support tools for diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10, Office 365 Admin Centre, Active Directory, Windows Server, Enterprise Networks
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Anti-Virus, Print, Mobile, and Laptop/PC Hardware
