Job summary

Back To Work in North Yorkshire is seeking an apprentice to join its busy IT helpdesk. This role offers variety across hardware, OS/software reinstallations and customer-facing tasks, ideal for someone starting a career in IT with an interest in IT support, networking and hardware.

Key duties include hardware repair and software updates, remote problem solving, and occasional on-site installations, with opportunities to travel to customer sites and gain hands-on experience in a real-world IT

Responsibilities

• Repair IT hardware and reinstall operating systems and software; work with new and old kit.

• Assist with commissioning of IT equipment and occasional on-site travel.
• Interact with customers face-to-face and provide support.
