Job summary

OKWIN is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician/Contractor to deliver on-site IT support across multiple UK manufacturing sites. The role is freelance/contract with immediate availability and regular travel to customers.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware/software, support Windows, Office 365 and Azure, and coordinate with international IT teams. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

• Availability for the initial 3-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, on-site IT support to end users.

• Support Windows environments, printers and mobile devices.
• Assist with Office 365 and Azure-related activities.
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues.
• Coordinate with remote international IT teams.

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Field Technician / IT Contractor to support a multinational industrial client across several UK manufacturing sites.

The assignment may be particularly suited to freelancers, independent contractors or IT professionals available for short-term projects who are looking for additional contracting opportunities.

Depending on project requirements, there may be opportunities for additional assignments, holiday coverage or a longer-term/permanent engagement following the initial period.

• Type: Freelance / Contractor assignment

• Location: Blackburn area, UK
• Regular travel to additional customer sites
• Mileage and travel expenses covered according to company policy

Key Responsibilities

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
• Availability for the initial 3-week assignment
