Focus Group is seeking an IT Technical Engineer to support and deliver ICT services for customers across a range of sectors. The role combines home-based work from Edinburgh with 3–4 days per week visiting customer sites, providing installation, configuration and fault resolution expertise.

You will join a collaborative Operations team, learning from senior colleagues while helping grow your technical and customer service skills in a fast-growing tech services company.

Competenze

• Experience in IT or telecoms support/delivery roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft tech stack: Windows Desktop, Windows Server, M365.
• Experience with networking gear (firewalls, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi).
• Cloud tech exposure (Azure, Intune, SharePoint) and voice tech (SIP/VoIP).
• Ability to work independently and in a team; flexible hours and travel as needed.

Mansioni

• Maintain customers' ICT services remotely or on site.
• Install and configure ICT solutions across products and sectors.
• Provide excellent customer experience during installations and maintenance.
• Visit customers to fix time-critical faults.
• Audit and document customer infrastructure.
• Support delivery of projects as part of a team, onsite or remotely.
• Collaborate with project management, 3rd Line Engineers and Service Desk.
