Principal IT is seeking an IT Proximity Engineer to provide Level 1/2 hardware and on-site IT support across two sites in Goole, with weekly travel to Northallerton. You will diagnose, deploy and maintain IT equipment, assisting production, warehouse and logistics environments.
The role requires Windows 11, Microsoft 365 skills, and a strong hardware mindset, with a valid UK driving licence and on-site availability. Travel between sites is regular.
Principal IT are working with a global player in the natural chemistry sector that are looking for an IT proximity engineer to join their team.
You will provide Level 1 proximity support for general end-user technology, alongside enhanced Level 1 and Level 2 hardware support for industrial, production, warehouse and logistics environments.
The role will be primarily based in Goole with occasional travel to Northallerton, with travel between the two sites typically required one day per week.
You will act as the local technical point of contact when issues cannot be resolved remotely by the central Service Desk. You'll provide on-site diagnosis, equipment deployment, hardware troubleshooting and local technical intervention across office, production, warehouse and logistics environments.
If successful our client is offering a salary between £35,000 & £40,000 per annum, favourable holiday allowance, plus many more.
