Job summary

KBR is seeking a proactive IT Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team in Tidworth. The role involves delivering high-quality desktop support, deploying IT equipment, and assisting both office-based and remote users with timely technical help.

You will support devices, collaboration tools, meeting room tech, and mobile solutions while following IT policies and security requirements. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites are required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop or IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience imaging, building, and deploying PCs using MECM/Configuration Manager.

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, build and deploy desktop/laptop equipment per KBR standards.
• Provide first-line desktop support to office-based and remote users.
• Assist with office moves and equipment reconfiguration.
• Support incident management and escalate within SLAs.
• Support mobile devices and MFA/authentication solutions.
• Maintain meeting room tech and collaboration tools.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, asset deployment and inventory.
• Adhere to IT policies, security requirements and safety rules.
