Job summary

The Crowd, a prestigious international architecture practice, is seeking an IT Assistant to join their collaborative London team. You will provide high-quality technical support to employees across the organisation, working with the IT Coordinator and IT teams across international offices.

You will help resolve IT issues, manage Office 365 services, and contribute to the reliability and improvement of systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in IT support within a busy environment.
  • Proficient in Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the London studio and other locations with IT tasks.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents related to software, hardware, MS 365, printers, scanners, telephony, and network.
  • Assist staff with new desktops and laptops.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain network, server and video conference systems.
  • Manage software such as Office 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new IT systems and applications.
  • Ensure IT documentation is up to date.
  • Support onboarding and training for new and existing employees.
  • Record and manage service requests and incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT Coordinator to communicate updates and service expectations.

About The Role:

Our client, a prestigious and desirable international architecture practice, are seeking an IT Assistant to join their collaborative team in London.

As the IT Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality technical support to employees across the organisation. Working closely with the IT Coordinator in London, and in collaboration with IT support teams in international offices, you will help ensure the prompt and effective resolution of all IT-related issues. This role is key to supporting the client’s broader IT objectives, contributing to the ongoing development, improvement, and reliability of their systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an in-house environment providing on site support, and a strong command of Office 365, with the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues confidently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the London studio with any IT-related tasks while also supporting other locations

  • Troubleshoot and maintain network, server and video conference software/hardware
  • Manage and maintain software such as Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive and related products
  • Coordinate the implementation of new IT systems and applications
  • Ensure that all IT documentation is updated
  • Support new and existing employees with any IT training and onboarding that is required
  • Record and manage service requests and incidents using the incident management system
  • Work closely with the IT Coordinator to communicate updates and set clear service expectations
Key Skills/Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in IT support within a busy environment
  • Proficient in Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Power BI and Power Apps
  • Adaptable and confident when handling troubleshooting and problems that occur
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Meticulous and structured approach
  • Proactive approach time-efficiency in task completion
  • Thrives working in a busy and creative environment
