Job summary

TGW Group in Market Harborough is seeking an IT apprentice to support and troubleshoot essential infrastructure. You’ll work with experienced pros, learning to maintain networks, servers, and warehouse systems while pursuing a Digital & Technology Solutions Professional L6 degree.

You’ll handle 1st/2nd line support, VPNs, and escalate complex issues as needed, collaborating with the development team to implement fixes and training. This is a hands-on entry into a growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Providing 1st and 2nd line user support via calls and logged issues on the ticketing system.
• Managing and troubleshooting site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs using appropriate tools.
• Identify and address ongoing technical issues, analyze reports for root causes, work with dev team to implement solutions or training.
• Escalate 3rd line issues while maintaining client communication until resolution.
• Assist in the support and maintenance of networks and servers.
• Conduct Warehouse Control Systems code and module testing to support system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support to internal users via phone and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot VPN connections and coordinate with clients for resolution.
• Assist in system upgrades and testing for warehouse control systems.
