• Degree or equivalent in a business or IT-related discipline.
• Experience in a leadership role managing an IT/support function.
• Experience managing internal and external relationships and contracts.
• Experience supporting or leading corporate systems such as CRM, incident management, finance and HR.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the IT and systems support function for consistent service across the organisation.

• Act as escalation point for major incidents, service issues and technical challenges.
• Oversee IT service performance, cyber security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Drive continuous improvement across support processes, systems and user experience.
• Govern incidents, problems, changes, software licensing and technical standards.
• Act as Information Security Officer.
• Support digital transformation projects and the wider Digital Strategy.

This is a leadership role running IT and systems support at Dorothy House Hospice Care, where technology serves clinical, retail and fundraising teams. The post-holder leads day-to-day delivery, manages the managed service provider and other suppliers, and is the escalation point for major incidents. Working is hybrid, three days in the office and two at home, with 30 hours a week also considered. The role doubles as Information Security Officer, so cyber security and data protection experience is central to fit.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a business or IT-related discipline

Experience

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience managing and leading a support team
• Demonstrable experience managing internal and external relationships and contracts
• Experience supporting or leading corporate systems such as CRM, incident management, clinical, finance and HR

Skills & knowledge

• Working knowledge of ITIL methodologies and best practice
• Knowledge of information security, cyber security and data protection practice
• Flexible approach to problem solving, defining recommendations and driving solutions

Nice to have

• IT budget management and supplier negotiation experience
• Project management or continuous improvement methodology experience
• Knowledge and experience of SystmOne
