Part-time 27.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.00pm (ideally).

Starting salary £26,310 pro rata

We are seeking an IT Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative and coordination support to the IT department. Acting as a primary point of contact for the wider college community, the role focuses on managing communication between users and the IT team and ensuring support requests are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to helpdesk enquiries via phone and email
  • Accurately log and track requests within the helpdesk system
  • Liaise with IT technical staff to allocate and monitor work
  • Raise quotations, place and track orders and deliveries
  • Prepare meeting documentation, take minutes and produce reports
  • Carry out other routine administrative tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed timescales
  • Basic understanding of IT services and processes is advantageous

Location

Main location: Ipswich Campus. Travelling between campuses may be required.
