Job summary

hireful is seeking an IT Account Manager to join its managed IT services team, supporting schools across England. The role is based in Oxford with a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 from home) and a base salary of £32k–£36k plus benefits.

You will manage the full customer journey from enquiries and requirements through to quotations, orders and delivery, building trusted relationships with schools, suppliers and internal teams while meeting SLAs and identifying new sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT sales or account management and strong communication.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and IT procurement is advantageous.
• Experience in education sector is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full customer journey from enquiry to quotation to order.
• Coordinate purchasing and ensure delivery on time.
• Build trusted relationships with schools, suppliers and teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Support renewals and ensure compliance with SLAs.
