Job summary

Blackpool Council in Lancashire is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to help people with long-term health conditions to find or stay in work. You’ll provide person-centred, job-focused support within local offices and in the community.

Travel locally and build strong relationships with employers; you’ll broker suitable paid employment aligned to client goals. Full training will be provided to develop the IPS model and related skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in IAG or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrable experience providing employment support.
• Vehicle access and ability to travel locally essential.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with long-term health conditions to find or stay in work.
• Work in town centre offices and in the community.
• Travel locally to meet employers and broker opportunities.
