Job summary

Blackpool Council in Leyland is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to support people with long-term health conditions or barriers to work. You’ll deliver Individual Placement and Support services, manage a caseload, and travel locally to meet employers and clients, with full training provided.

You’ll need strong communication, time management and administrative skills, and a Level 3 in IAG or equivalent (or 2+ years of employment support experience).

Qualifications

• Level 3 in IAG or equivalent, or at least 2 years of employment support experience.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with complex barriers to work.
• Liaise with local employers to secure paid employment opportunities.
• Travel locally to meet clients and employers in community and town centre settings.
• Deliver the IPS model with full training and support.
