Job summary

Blackpool Skip Hire Ltd. in Chorley is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to help clients with long-term health conditions find or stay in work.

The role involves delivering Individual Placement and Support, liaising with employers, and meeting clients in town centre offices and community settings. You will travel locally, build meaningful employer relationships, and provide holistic guidance with on-the-job training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Strong and persuasive communication, excellent time management, and exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to initiate and develop relationships with local employers using multiple channels.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and use a vehicle daily.

Responsibilities

• Support people with long-term health conditions to find or stay in work through IPS.
• Build relationships with employers and referral agencies to secure suitable paid employment.
• Manage a caseload of clients and provide holistic, person-centred guidance and support.
• Deliver training for the IPS model and coordinate with community services and offices.
