Job summary

IPS Employment Specialist role available in Lancaster and surrounding areas. You will support individuals with long-term health conditions to secure or sustain paid employment, travelling locally to engage employers and deliver holistic IPS support with full training provided.

Role requires strong communication, time management and organisational skills, plus a Level 3 in IAG or equivalent (or 2 years of relevant experience). A vehicle is required for travel.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in IAG or equivalent or substantial related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with a mental health condition or barriers to employment.
• Travel locally to liaise with and meet local employers at their premises.
• Provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) with on-the-job training.
• Build trusting relationships with health and allied professionals to receive referrals.
