Job summary

Waythrough is looking for an IPS Employment Specialist in Whitehaven/Workington to help clients find and sustain paid work using the evidence-based IPS model. You will collaborate with health and support professionals to integrate employment into recovery, guiding clients from job search to workplace adjustment and ongoing success.

The role emphasises coaching, advocacy and building strong employer relationships, with a 37-hour week and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience talking with employers and supporting people into work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Negotiation skills and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to find and sustain meaningful, paid employment.
• Use IPS model to understand skills, interests, and career goals.
• Build relationships with local employers to create job opportunities.
• Provide coaching, advocacy and employer engagement as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support clients through job search, interviews, workplace adjustments and ongoing success.
