Job summary

Groundwork NE & Cumbria is seeking an Employment Specialist to support people with health conditions into and through work via the Connect to Work programme, using the IPS model to deliver person-centred guidance.

You will manage a caseload of around 25 clients, build strong employer links and work with health providers and partners to ensure joined-up support for sustainable employment.

Qualifications

• Caseload of around 25 clients with health conditions.
• Excellent communication and relationship building with clients, employers and partners.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability to identify employment solutions.
• Person-centred, empathetic and committed to helping others succeed.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a varied caseload and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred information, advice and guidance under the IPS model.
• Source suitable opportunities by building employer relationships.
• Work with health providers, JCP and other employment bodies to ensure joined-up support.
• Assist individuals to access, return to, and sustain meaningful employment.
