Waythrough is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to help clients obtain and sustain paid work using the IPS model in Cumbria. You will assess skills and goals, build relationships with local employers, and support clients through recruitment and workplace adaptation.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team across recovery services, ensuring employment is part of the recovery journey and celebrating progress along the way. You’ll receive training and ongoing support to develop IPS practice.

Qualifications

• Experience talking with employers and supporting people into work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with everyone from front‑line teams to CEOs.
• Negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
• Passion, drive, empathy and belief in people’s potential.
• Ability to stay organised and manage a varied caseload.
