Job summary

A&O Shearman is recruiting a BD Manager for IP Litigation in London. You will lead day-to-day BD for the IP Litigation practice, supporting pitches, events, directories and thought leadership to drive growth and client engagement.

The role requires collaborating with the Marketing team, partners and lawyers to convert strategy into actionable plans. You will manage client targeting, maintain CRM data quality in Dynamics and monitor ROI while embracing AI tools in line with firm policy.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering BD activities in professional services.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and timelines.
• Familiarity with client targeting, pipelines and market intel.

Responsibilities

• Manage directories and awards submissions for the IP Litigation group.
• Coordinate pitches, proposals and align with central teams.
• Tailor credentials and case studies for client needs and update collateral.
• Support rehearsals, Q&A prep, and maintain pipeline hygiene.
• Track spend and ROI; provide status reports from Dynamics.
