A&O Shearman in London seeks a BD Manager for the IP Litigation practice within the Marketing team. You will convert strategy into tactical plans, support lawyers, and drive growth through pitches, events and client-focused campaigns.

You will collaborate across BD, partners, and MST to raise the group’s profile, manage client relationships, and leverage data-driven insights while adhering to AI usage policies. Hybrid working with office presence required.

Qualifications

• Proven business development experience in professional services.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Interest in IP litigation and technology market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Manage BD activities for IP Litigation in London, including pitches, events, directories and thought leadership.
• Coordinate pitches, proposals and client-facing collateral with central teams.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and data quality in Dynamics CRM; track spend and ROI.
