Job summary

A&O Shearman in London is seeking a BD Manager - IP Litigation within the Marketing team to lead business development for the IP Litigation practice. You will coordinate pitches, client targeting, events, and thought leadership, translating strategy into practical campaigns.

The role involves working with Partners and lawyers across the firm, managing CRM data in Dynamics, and driving cross‑selling opportunities while contributing to growth in a hybrid, client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience executing BD activities in professional services.
• Ability to translate strategy into tactical plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with client targeting and pipeline management.
• Familiarity with marketing platforms and AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pitches and proposals with central pitch team.
• Manage marketing collateral and case studies.
• Support rehearsals and Q&A preparation.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and data completeness in Dynamics.
