Job summary
Ohme is hiring a connectivity specialist in IoT System Manager to own end-to-end charger connectivity across all models. This hybrid role requires collaboration with Engineering, Hardware, Software and Operations teams to ensure reliable cellular, WiFi and BLE connectivity.
You will optimise the IT setup between IoT platforms and Ohme's cloud backend, analyse connectivity performance, and drive incident response and continuous improvement across the business.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with WiFi and managed cellular IoT connectivity including 2G/4G/LTE-M
- SIM lifecycle management, APNs and roaming, coverage issues and troubleshooting
- Solid networking and security knowledge: IP networking, DNS, VPNs, HTTPS, TLS, APIs
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end charger connectivity solution (Cellular/WiFi/Bluetooth) across all models and lifecycle
- Manage relationships with third-party SIM and telecom providers, including contracts and performance reviews
- Oversee hardware connectivity components (modems, antennas, SIMs) with engineering/suppliers
- Coordinate multi-channel connectivity across cloud backend and devices
- Own connectivity health metrics: activation, availability, data usage, outages impact
- Lead cross-functional incident response and continuous improvement with several teams
