Job summary

Ohme is seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate to support the leadership team with strategic planning, budgeting and cross-functional initiatives within the Corporate Development & Strategy group.

You will build trackers, perform financial and market analyses in energy/EV, own KPI reporting, and create presentations and dashboards for internal and external use.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role (consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or high-growth startup).
• Strong communicator with ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across teams.
• Commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SQL or BI tools are a plus.
• Degree in finance, economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and resource planning: build and maintain trackers, flag variances, escalated risks.
• Support Strategic Business Partnering: prepare various financial analyses for stakeholders.
• Help improve FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure as we scale.
• Own KPI tracking and produce regular business updates.
• Build presentations, dashboards and strategy documents, with review before external use.
• Conduct financial, strategic and market analysis on energy/EV sectors with scope set by senior team.

What You’ll Do

• Support budgeting and resource planning: build and maintain trackers, flag variances, escalated risks

What We’re Looking For

• Strategic Analytical Background: 5+ years experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role, ideally within consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a high-growth startup.
• Stakeholder Influence: A clear and confident communicator with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and work collaboratively across teams.
• Commercial Mindset: A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, comfortable with ambiguity and able to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Highly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus
• Degree in finance, economics or related field
