Job summary

TechNET IT is seeking a Dispute Analyst for a six-month contract within a UK healthcare and clinical services setting. You will manage invoice disputes from investigation through resolution, collaborating with Finance, Credit Control and operational teams to resolve issues.

The role emphasises data analysis, cross-system reconciliation and proactive process improvements to prevent recurring discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in invoice disputes, billing disputes or accounts receivable.
• Strong analytical ability to investigate data from multiple sources.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Investigating complex invoice queries and disputes, analysing financial data, historic records, contracts and transactions.
• Identifying the cause of discrepancies and determining the appropriate resolution.
• Maintaining accurate dispute records, correspondence and investigation history.
• Collating and analysing data from multiple systems, portals and spreadsheets.
• Working extensively with Excel, including data checks and pivot tables.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and customers to progress and resolve queries.
• Providing clear explanations of findings and proposed solutions.
• Preparing accurate information for Billing and Finance teams to action.
• Identifying recurring dispute trends and root causes.
• Recommending process improvements to reduce future discrepancies.
