• Manage the invoice query inbox, investigating and resolving disputes within agreed timeframes.
• Cross-reference invoices against order records, pricing agreements, delivery data and account history using Salesforce.
• Raise credit notes with clear explanations and a complete audit trail.
• Build and maintain Excel trackers, monitoring query status, age, value and outcomes, and producing regular reports for Finance and Credit Control.
• Identify recurring billing errors and work with internal teams to address root causes.
• Support Credit Control by providing timely updates and ensuring legitimate open queries are not unnecessarily escalated to collections.
• Liaise professionally with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve queries promptly.
• Support the testing and development of AI-assisted tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of query resolution.

Working closely with customers and internal teams, the post-holder will use Salesforce and Excel to manage queries, maintain precise records and identify ways to prevent recurring issues. The position also offers involvement in developing AI-assisted resolution tools. Offered on a temporary contract at £14.61–£15.00 per hour plus holiday pay, this role suits someone proactive and organised who enjoys improving processes.

• Strong Excel skills , including building trackers, cross-referencing data and producing reports from scratch.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with invoices, billing information and order records.
• A proactive, investigative approach with the ability to manage a high volume of cases independently and prioritise effectively.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• A background in finance, billing, credit control, accounts receivable or a data-focused role.
• An understanding of invoice queries, credit notes and dispute resolution processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt writing, with an interest in using technology to improve processes.
