Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is recruiting an Inventory Manager to lead stock integrity and inventory performance within a flagship Life Sciences & Healthcare operation at Infinity Park Derby.

Join a brand-new team to ensure accurate, compliant, and traceable stock management across the operation. The role focuses on stock control, analytics, and stakeholder communication to drive improvements and high standards of compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and inventory management.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and ensuring compliance.
• Ability to analyse data and present performance updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing inventory processes to maintain high levels of stock accuracy and integrity across the operation.
• Investigating stock discrepancies, losses, damages, and inventory queries to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Acting as a key contact for customer queries, audits, and performance reviews.
• Analysing inventory trends, stock ageing, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Leading and developing the warehouse teams while ensuring inventory routines and controls are consistently followed.

Pay Rate: £45,000-£50,000 DOE
Grade: RCS K
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Core hours - Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00.
Location: Derby, DE73 5BH

We're looking for an Inventory Manager to lead stock integrity and inventory performance, ensuring accurate, compliant, and fully traceable stock management across the operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Managing inventory processes to maintain high levels of stock accuracy and integrity across the operation


• Investigating stock discrepancies, losses, damages, and inventory queries to identify root causes and corrective actions


• Acting as a key contact for customer queries, audits, and performance reviews


• Analysing inventory trends, stock ageing, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement


• Leading and developing the warehouse teams while ensuring inventory routines and controls are consistently followed

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations


• Are confident managing customer relationships and presenting data or performance updates to stakeholders


• Have strong analytical skills and enjoy investigating issues to drive improvements


• Are comfortable using warehouse management systems and working with operational data


• Have experience leading teams and maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy, and process control
