Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Coventry (CV2) is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support stock accuracy and fast-paced warehousing operations. You will record stock movements, count cycles, and ensure stock receipt is on time.

Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS), investigate discrepancies, maintain records, and deliver good customer service while protecting confidential information. Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00.

Qualifications

• Previous Inventory/Stock experience essential.
• Ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies using system analysis and physical checks.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Strong administrative capabilities, including maintaining accurate records and stock files.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Progress orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate recording of stock movements and inventory transactions.
• Assist the warehouse operation by creating scheduled stock movements, Inter depot transfers etc.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies using WMS data and physical inventory checks, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy and minimising adjustments.
• Assist the receiving department. New line set up's, to ensure stock is received on to site accurately and on time.
• Perform regular cycle counting in accordance with the counting schedule.
• Maintain accurate stock records and operational documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service, building positive relationships while handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments to drive operational efficiencies, share best practices, and support business objectives.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
