DHL Supply Chain in Gaydon is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead operations and drive success. The role requires proactive leadership, strong logistics knowledge, and a focus on stock integrity and customer satisfaction.

This permanent, full-time position offers a shift pattern Monday to Friday and opportunities to influence warehouse performance and team engagement on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Previous Inventory Line Manager experience.
• Experience with Managing inventory.
• Competent with WMS and transactional data.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.

Responsabilités

• Maintain stock integrity and minimize stock loss liabilities.
• Prepare documents and reports; ensure SOP compliance.
• Communicate procedures and methods to the team.
• Meet customer expectations and service levels.
• Manage stakeholder expectations with clear communication.
• Maintain daily communication with colleagues and internal customers.

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 06:30am to 15:30pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responsibility for maintaining and managing stock integrity and minimizing DHL's contractual stock loss liabilities
• Preparation of all relevant documents and reports - ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and local requirements
• Communicate work practices, procedures and methods to team members, as required
• Appreciates what customers want and continuously strives to meet customer expectations
• Manage stakeholder expectations via effective communication at all times
• Communicate well with all colleagues, team members and internal customers on a daily basis

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous Inventory Line Manager experience
• Experience with Managing inventory
• Ideally competent with WMS and transactional data.
• IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages, Excel
• Have strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing
• Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
• You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage your team
