Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in St Athan is seeking an Inventory First Line Manager to lead a team and drive stock accuracy in a high‑performing operation. You will oversee data integrity, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement to maximise efficiency and compliance.

The role requires previous inventory or warehouse admin experience, team supervision, strong IT skills and a detail-oriented, problem‑solving mindset. Shift patterns are provided in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Inventory Clerks to deliver high levels of stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies through system analysis and root cause investigation.
• Monitor and report on inventory KPIs, ensuring performance targets are achieved.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity across warehouse systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Use warehouse management systems and reporting tools to analyse inventory trends and issues.

Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday [14:45 - 00:00], Friday [11:00 - 16:00]

We are looking for an Inventory First Line Manager to join our team, leading a safe, efficient, and high-performing inventory operation while driving operational standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Inventory Clerks to deliver high levels of stock accuracy

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous inventory, stock control or warehouse administration experience
• Experience managing or supervising a team
• Strong IT and systems skills, with confidence analysing data and reports
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
• Experience working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment preferred
