Join DHL Supply Chain as a Facilities Manager, overseeing facilities across multiple sites and travelling between Derby, Banbury and West Yorkshire. This permanent, full-time role focuses on maintaining facilities, coordinating contractors, and ensuring health, safety, and security standards across UK sites.

You will support maintenance programmes, procurement, and site improvements to enhance operational performance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Experience managing facilities within a warehouse/logistics/operational environment.
• Experience managing multiple facilities.
• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance, contractor management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, procurement activities, and contract negotiations.
• Willing to travel between sites and support multiple locations.
• Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.

Pay Rate: Competitive
Grade: RCS L
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to travel between sites and support operational requirements as needed.
Location: Travel between sites in Derby, Banbury, West Yorkshire

We're looking for a Facilities Manager to play an important role in building a high-performing, innovative operation that sets the standard from day one.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Managing facilities across multiple sites, ensuring buildings, equipment, and services are maintained to a high standard
• Coordinating contractors and service providers, monitoring performance and ensuring work is completed safely and effectively
• Procuring facilities services, obtaining quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring value for money
• Supporting maintenance programmes, refurbishments, and site improvement projects to enhance operational performance
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements across the sites

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have experience managing facilities within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environment
• Have previous experience managing multiple facilities (beneficial)
• Have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance, contractor management, and compliance requirements
• Have experience managing supplier relationships, procurement activities, and contract negotiations
• Are comfortable travelling between sites and supporting multiple locations where required
• Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders
