Job summary

The Williams F1 Team in Grove, United Kingdom is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage the flow, storage and tracking of high-value components and materials in the warehouse for production, testing and race operations.

You will maintain stock records, prepare picks in line with the work-to-list, and perform regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and availability for critical activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory control, warehousing or logistics in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software (preferably D365).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings.

# Inventory ControllerAtlassian Williams F1 TeamGrove, United KingdomPosted 6 Oct 2026## About this roleMain Duties:Inventory Management:- Maintain accurate records of all stock items, including components, tools, and consumables, using inventory management systems.- Prepare ‘picks’ for Operations teams ahead of them being needed in line with the ‘work to list’.- Monitor stock levels to ensure critical parts are available for production, testing, and race operations.- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.Warehouse Operations:- Ensure the proper storage of items, ensuring optimal organization, labelling, and accessibility.- Implement and maintain inventory control processes that align with team policies and FIA regulations.- Coordinate with Goods Receiving team to manage the flow of materials into and out of the warehouse.Demand Planning and Procurement Support:- Highlight potential shortages or surpluses to ensure smooth operations during production and race events.Compliance and Reporting:- Support and contribute to all internal meetings and feedback sessions.- Ensure that all inventory handling complies with health and safety guidelines, as well as FIA regulations.- Assist with audits and ensure documentation is readily available for inspection by regulatory bodies.Key Accountabilities:Fulfil all organisational expectations, including but not limited to the following:- Understand and work in line with Williams Values & Behaviours, encouraging others to do the same.- Ensure understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations.- Maintain personal high standards of behaviour and conduct, being a positive ambassador for the department.- Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation.- Work to quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance.- Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements.Core Competencies:- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.- Proficient in inventory and logistics software, ideally D365.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy or safety.- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.- A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-speed environment.Qualifications and Experience Level:- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics, preferably in a high-pressure or technical environment such as motorsport, aerospace, or manufacturing.- Experience with inventory management software (ideally D365 if possible)Company DescriptionThe Inventory Controller is responsible for managing the efficient flow, storage, and tracking of high-value components and materials in the warehouse of Williams Racing.
