Job summary

Epwin Group is seeking a Stock Supervisor to oversee stock accuracy across our Tamworth warehouse, coordinating cycle counts, investigations and corrective actions to maintain precise inventory levels.

You will lead stock control activities, monitor discrepancies, and work with departments to reduce errors while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. A forklift licence is preferred to handle warehouse movements.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock movements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrable supervisory or leadership capability.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with warehouse/inventory management systems.
• Good numerical and data analysis skills.
• Effective communication across levels.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Experience with continuous improvement or Lean methodologies would be advantageous.
• Forklift licence is preferred, with safe forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for stock accuracy across the warehouse operation.
• Plan, coordinate and complete regular cycle counts and stock checks.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Ensure stock movements, relocations and adjustments are completed accurately and promptly.
• Monitor stock in investigation or unidentified locations and progress to resolution.
• Identify incorrectly located, unidentified or damaged stock and coordinate corrective action.
• Monitor system stock against physical stock and investigate variances.
• Ensure stock control processes and procedures are followed.
• Support preparation and completion of company stocktakes.
• Maintain records of stock investigations, adjustments and corrective actions.
