Job summary

Cooneen Group is recruiting for a full-time Stock Controller in Wrexham to support day-to-day operations within our Managed Service Centre. You will maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock movements and assist with stock investigations to ensure product availability for customers.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, experience with stock control or ERP systems, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in stock control or inventory in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using stock control, warehouse management or ERP systems.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records across warehouse systems and locations.
• Monitor stock movements, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and support periodic stock takes.
• Analyse inventory data and produce stock-related reports as required.
• Liaise with warehouse, customer service and management teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support goods-in and goods-out processes to ensure stock transactions are completed correctly.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock, highlighting issues and recommendations.
• Ensure stock control processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Assist with system updates, stock adjustments and master data maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.
• Implement improvements which have been agreed with your Manager.
• Support an environment in which people feel comfortable to share information, learning and knowledge within the design team and across the wider business.
• Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.
