Job summary

ILG (International Logistics Group Ltd) is seeking a Stock Control Supervisor in Northampton. You will direct the stock control team, coordinate cycle counts, and ensure stock accuracy across customer product lines stored in the warehouse.

The role emphasises proactive problem solving and continuous process improvements. Key duties include leading stock takes with internal teams, maintaining KPI-aligned performance, and communicating issues to the line manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and inventory counts is essential.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to prioritise workload and tasks in a busy environment.
• Understanding of warehouse management systems and MS Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the stock control team and daily tasks for stock control activities.
• Lead client stock takes in coordination with Ops, CS and IT.
• Coordinate tasks to meet operational demands and improve stock accuracy.
• Maintain and improve performance levels to maximise stock figure accuracy and KPI alignment.
• Communicate issues to the line manager, e.g., variances and queries.
• Proactively contribute to process improvements and stock efficiency during weekly cycles.
